I'm on a mission - think "Blues Brothers" if you like - it's all about the thing we called "soul music." Ya gotta believe in every note. It's like method acting. Being real about one's art leads to integrity, and respects the audience. Don't wanta waste your time!
We all have full schedules. I like to spend 4 hours a day in the practice studio, at least 5 days a week. And, if possible, 6 hours a night creating. I mean: writing, composing music, recording MIDI tracks, blogging, learning to program my own web site. Through the creative process I want to highlight our human need for love, compassion, understanding, peace, culture, civilization!
Never before in history has the individual had access to such constructive power, literally at one's fingertips. The power of technology, the Internet, low cost electronic hardware, wow! I'm obsessed with using these tools for good - positivity - no negativism. It's way too easy to criticize and destroy, so let's work on the building!
