Here's the latest...

Carlos Joe Costa is visiting. He's checking the venues in the Bay Area, looking forward to a CD release later in the year. Carlos is a master poet, inspirational musician (congas, flute, vocals) and an actor, too. Originally from San Mateo, he's been sparking the Vancouver BC world music scene with his Renaissance Now project. Next Saturday he'll join us at the Quarternote from 4 to 7!

Also, next week our guitarist, Paul Diddens, will be on the road. Pianist Ben Anjo will join us on the 27th. We will be more jazz than blues on that day, as Ben is an excellent jazz pianist, and we want to share his excellence with the South Bay music fans.

Ben will also appear with the Dogpatch Jazz Ensemble later that night (9 to 12:30): Dennis Kong on upright bass, Walt Hern is the drummer, I'm on alto and tenor, and some vocals. 2010 is gaining momentum!
